Loss prevention & security

Built to catch what a busy till misses.

Most POS systems log what happened. Infinity Portal watches for the specific patterns that actually indicate theft - in real time, on the till itself - not just a report someone has to remember to check.

The signal that matters most

Cash entered, then the sale disappears. Caught the moment it happens.

A cashier scans a full cart, opens the payment screen, types the customer's cash amount - then backs out and voids a line, or cancels the whole bill. The customer paid based on the original total; the recorded sale ends up smaller, or vanishes. It's one of the most common ways cash gets skimmed at a till, and it's easy to miss in a busy shift.

On the till, before it's approved

The supervisor sees a clear warning right in the authorization prompt - a real chance to check with the cashier or customer before signing off, not an after-the-fact log entry.

A notification, on any page

A manager sees it just by logging in - no need to be watching a specific report, or have Telegram alerts configured, to catch it.

INFI brings it up unprompted

A proactive message lands in the AI assistant's chat the next time the right person opens it -- no need to think to ask.

How INFI catches it

  1. 01

    Cash entered at the till

The cashier types the customer's cash amount into the payment screen for a full cart.

  2. 02

Then a void, cancel or discount follows

On that same bill, after the cash amount was already keyed in - the pattern that actually matters.

  3. 03

    Server-side detection catches it instantly

Computed from real sales and payment data on the server, never trusted from the terminal's own math.

  4. 04

Surfaces in three places at once

The authorization prompt itself, the notification bell, and a proactive message in INFI's chat.

  5. 05

A human decides what happens next

INFI flags the pattern - it never blocks the sale or reverses anything on its own.

Security that runs underneath everything, not a bolt-on module.

Authorization on every void, cancel & discount

A cashier can't void a line, cancel a bill, or apply a manual discount alone - a supervisor PIN, card tap, or authenticator code is required every time, with the reason and who approved it recorded permanently.

Cash shortage pattern detection

Register close reconciliation is computed server-side from real sales, payment and cash-movement data - never trusted from the terminal's own totals. A cashier with a repeating pattern of shortages gets flagged automatically.

3-way match & duplicate invoice detection

Every A/P invoice can be checked against the goods receipt and purchase order it came from, flagging quantity or price mismatches - plus a separate check for invoices that look like duplicates of one already on file.

Transaction anomaly detection

Invoice amounts that are statistical outliers for a given customer or supplier, and cashiers whose void/discount activity sits well outside their peers' - surfaced for a human to judge, never auto-flagged as "fraud."

Tamper-evident audit trail

Every field change is logged with a cryptographic hash chain - each entry links to the one before it, so a row can't be quietly edited or deleted after the fact without breaking the chain.

Role-based permissions, read or full

Every action in the system is gated by its own permission key, grantable at read or full access per role - so a role can see a document exists without being able to touch it.

Approval workflows

Routed to the right person, automatically.

Configure a multi-step approval chain for any document type, gated by amount against each user's own approval limit. Nothing posts until it's cleared every required stage - and editing an approved document after the fact restarts the workflow rather than silently slipping through.

How it reaches you

  1. 01

    A document is drafted

A purchase order, an expense claim, a discount above the normal limit - anything routed for approval.

  2. 02

    Routed to the right approver

By document type and amount, checked against that specific approver's own configured limit.

  3. 03

    Notified instantly

Telegram, WhatsApp, SMS and the in-app bell all fire the moment it's that approver's turn to act.

  4. 04

Approve or reject, with a reason

Every decision is logged permanently against the document, whoever made it and whenever it happened.

  5. 05

Only a fully cleared chain posts

Editing an approved document afterward restarts the whole chain - it can't quietly slip through.

Account security

One session, verified identity.

Two-factor authentication for web logins, a separate authenticator credential for POS authorization, and single-session enforcement that prompts a decision - not a silent takeover - when the same account signs in somewhere new.

See it flag a real pattern in your own data.
